INIAMA EMERGES AC'S GUBER CANDIDATE
The gubernatorial candidate on the platform of the Action Congress, Mr. James Iniama has pledged his readiness to restore the dignity of the Akwa Ibom person. The candidate, while giving acceptance speech after being declared as the gubernatorial candidate of the party on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the State party headquarters Ekpo Obot Street , Uyo said that his election as the flag bearer of the party is the beginning of a new era, to restore self-respect and dignity of the indigenes of the State. He said this is in line with the Action Congress manifesto that once he is elected as the State's governor, he will ensure an egalitarian society, where the indigenes will live in harmony, peace and prosperity. Mr. Iniama, who is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, said that his cardinal programme is to provide qualitative education by giving public schools the deserved quality.
